Today’s card is not only a super fun design BUT also a super amazing deal. This cute Llama stamp set with coordinating die is only $5! Yep, you read that right–$5 for BOTH the stamp set AND the matching dies.
When you have a stamp set that either has several images or several sentiments that go together, this style of card is perfect. The first step to opening it is opening the bottom flap (which looks like it’s just the bottom part of the card!) It shows off another coordinating image or a sentiment. In this case–“Happy Birthday.”
Then you open up the card completely and you get another coordinating image or sentiment. In this case, the sentiment builds on to the happy birthday sentiment from the flap, wishing the birthday person “a llama fun!” How cute is that?!?
You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to create this fun fold card. Here is how you do it:
Start with a 5-1/2″ x 12″ cardstock you want for your card base. Score and cut away as shown in the diagram. Layer patterned paper, stamp and embellish as desired. Use the front focal panel to hold the flap closed by attaching it with 3-D Foam Dots (ONLY on the top of the panel.)
If you want to get the Prickly Pear Cardmaking Stamp Set + Coordinating Thin Cuts dies, be sure to grab them soon! They are available on a while supplies last basis. At such a low price point–$5 is a phenomenal deal–they won’t last long!
