You're My Favorite Triangle Box

Today’s project is one I created using the April Stamp of the Month, Love So Sweet.  I love how it turned out.  It’s so simple and clean in design.  But it definitely would brighten the recipient’s day when you gave it to them, right?

You're My Favorite Triangle Box Side

I wanted to use a bright and cheerful color combination so I went with Lagoon, Canary and Nectarine.  They compliment each other so well!

Inside You're My Favorite Triangle Box

Since I was using White Daisy Cardstock as my base for the box, I wanted to make sure the inside looked just as inviting.  Adding some layering always enhances a project, so that is what I did.  I layered some Lagoon and Canary Cardstock to the inside of the box to tie all the colors together.

I even stamped the little sentiment “so sweet” inside the box since I was filling it with some Rolos.  I used the Rock ‘n Roll Technique by inking the image first in Lemon ink and then rolling the edges of the stamp image in Nectarine ink.  It’s important to use an acrylic block very close in size to your stamp image so that you can easily roll the edges and pick up the color.  It makes for a stunning look and is so super easy to do!  If you’ve never tried it before, I encourage you to give it a try!
