Today’s card is another that I created with Close To My Heart’s Stamp of the Month, Cherishing Her. The sentiments in this stamp set are absolutely perfect for cardmakers.
All of the sentiments are so heartfelt and uplifting. I combined the solid hearts with the outline hearts from the set to create my own patterned paper by stamping the Kraft Paper with VersaMark Ink to give a subtle watermarked appearance.
I added in some White Daisy re-inker using my Round Waterbrush as well as some sponging using Toffee Ink–all to add some extra texture and dimension to the card.
I stamped the sentiment on French Vanilla (I really love the warm look of this new color!) and added some 3-D Foam Tape to adhere it to a New England Ivy piece that I cut out with the *NEW* Stitched Bracket Thin Cut Die.
