The *NEW* Close To My Heart March-April Catalog is HERE and it’s amazing! As usual there are many new stamp sets, accessories and papers. But perhaps the thing that struck me the most about this new catalog is all the texture!
Both of the *NEW* Paper Collections have so much texture to them! For example, look at the gorgeous Yesterday and Today Paper Collection. The rich tones in this collection are perfect for heritage/vintage projects. But they also work well with a splash of color to accent the neutral tones contained in this collection.
But it’s not just the papers that have wonderful textures to them. The *NEW* stamp sets do as well.
I used the *NEW* Yesterday & Today Cardmaking Stamp Set + Thin Cuts to create this card. Look at how beautiful the images are. You can get soft, subtle textures like I achieved with my patterned paper that I stamped tone-on-tone.
But you can also get bold textures like I did with my stamped rose by stamping it in the darker, rich Espresso ink.
