Here’s a toadally awesome card for any day. I created it with Close To My Heart’s *NEW* Toadally Awesome Stamp Set (you can also get it with a coordinating die.)
As I shared in a blog post last week, this was one of the first stamp sets that caught my eye when I first looked through the *NEW* July – September 2022 CTMH Catalog. I paired it with the *NEW* Backyard Bliss Paper Collection
.
While this paper collection definitely has some theme specific patterns, it also has some lovely, versatile general prints as well. I can absolutely see myself using the Wood Grain and Chicken Wire Patterns over and over on a variety of projects.
I’ve used today’s Card Sketch several times–always with great results. I love using Thin 3-D Foam Dots behind the focal point to help make it pop even more. And while I did decide to color in my stamped image with TriBlend Markers, you could also leave it uncolored as well. Or you could stamp it on colored cardstock. There are a variety of options.
In addition to coloring the image with the TriBlend Markers, I wanted to add a little sparkle to the fly’s wings so I used some Diamond Stickles. You could also use a Clear Shimmer Brush to get a similar effect. To me, the Stickles adds a little more dimension.
I stamped the inside of the card with the “Have a Toadally Awesome Day” sentiment. I plan to send it as a birthday card. But the beauty of this stamp set is that it’ll make a toadally awesome card for any day!
