On Tuesday, I was asked a great question…how can I use Waxy Flax?
[Note: Waxy Flax is no longer available from CTMH 🙁 but you can find similar things at craft stores.]
So I thought I’d share a few ideas with you all…
First of all, you can use it to string through button openings like I did in my post earlier this week (found HERE) OR you can use it for stitching on your projects. It has the right amount of stiffness and waxiness to easily thread through holes you’ve pierced in your paper.
You could do straight stitching like:

You could also use it to tie on a little tag like:
OR you could add a little dimension by adding it above a stamped image like I did here with the kite string:
