Now that the holidays are over and the cards have been signed by all the families and given to the teachers, I guess it’s safe to post them! The first card was easy to decide on a theme as my son’s teacher LOVES owls. You barely walk into the classroom and it’s obvious. So I pulled out my Cricut Artiste cartridge and went to work making up an owl holiday card.
And then for my daughter’s teacher, I really wanted to use the beautiful Frosted Paper Collection…I so love the beautiful cool blues and grey tones in this paper. And I figured since I already had a design done, why not duplicate it?!? No sense in re-inventing the wheel, right?
I also incorporated one of my favorite techniques…the one where you use an old dryer sheet and prisma glitter. So pretty and so sparkly!
It’s hard to believe that it’s time to already start making Valentine’s cards. But we’ll save those ideas for a few weeks, yet. 🙂
