With our End-of-the-Year party theme centered around space, I figured doing the Teacher Thank You Card in that same theme was only fitting. I made it in a 5″ x 7″ size so there was a little more room than the standard 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card for families to sign it. We passed it around to all the families in the class so that everyone could write a little sentiment to our teacher for all her hard work.
Since my son’s teacher wasn’t doing a theme for their End-of-the-Year party, per se, I decided to stick with the same card design but use Laughing Lola paper since purple is her favorite color and this paper has a couple of purple tones in it. Again, I kept it a 5″ x 7″ size and passed it around to all the families to express their thanks.
Tomorrow I’ll share the Teacher Gifts–both from the class and from my kids.
Your cards are so nice and elegant. Especially like the burlap ribbon and the glitter paper on each card.
Thanks, Sheila. That is very sweet of you!
