Cricut Art Philosophy Thanksgiving Place Setting

Art Philosophy Turkey Fry Box

It’s just one week until Thanksgiving.  Are you ready?  Here’s a creative idea for place settings using CTMH’s Cricut Art Philosophy Collection.  We made this thankful turkey project at this month’s Stamp Club.  We started with the Fry Box cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy in Saddle Cardstock.  We then added a Saddle Fundamentals Cardstock piece for the head (love the beautiful glossy embossed look of these papers–but what’s even better is that it’s still 2-sided giving you twice the creativity!)  We did a little free-hand cutting for the beak and gobble.  We used the Chalk Marker for the eyes (simple and cute!)

The feathers were created by cutting out leaves from the Cricut Art Philosophy and then we did a watercolor technique using ink pads and our *NEW* All-Purpose Mat.  We finished by embossing them with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder to give them more texture.

For the final touch–add in a fun treat. How about a chocolate Ghiradelli square?

You can find this Thanksgiving Turkey craft project with my other favorite Cricut projects on my Cricut Crafts page.
