Back in 1880 on this day, Helen Keller was born. While she may have lost her sight and her vision at a very early age, she certainly lived her life to the fullest and left a great legacy.
I love quotes. Perhaps it’s my inability to always properly express what I’m feeling or thinking that draws me to the profound (and sometimes simple) words of others. Helen Keller had many wonderful quotes. Possibly one of her more famous ones (and a favorite of mine) is:
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.”
So go out and do something nice for someone today. Show them how much you care. It’ll not only make them feel great, but you will too!
