Rain, Rain Go Away!

Okay, I truly do realize that rain is not that bad of a thing.  Most years, I love rainy days.  It’s a great chance to stay in your jammies, curl up with a book, maybe take a nap (note: these things would no longer actually happen in my world with two 3-year-olds, but I do realize this could be a reality for some!).  But as many know we are doing an addition on our home so there is the absence of a permanent roof over half of our home right now.  The stress of all this horrid rain is too much to bear.  I know, I know…complaining about rain is so thoughtless when many states are “enjoying” cold winters full of snow and if they are lucky highs in the teens.  I’m a midwesterner so I’m not entirely clueless…a good chunk of my childhood was spent in North Dakota (I know, I know, many of you are like where the heck is that?!?  Pull out a map and brush up on that geography, folks! lol).  I just checked, the high for today was zero.  Yes, that can be a high temperature for all you native Californians!  In fact, zero isn’t too shabby.  It could be below zero (and that is even without wind chill factored in.).  But I digress…
All this rain has truly been weighing on my mind.  So much so, that it inspired my Wiper Card–this weeks challenge over at Project Tuesday.
Don’t forget the rain boots!
