Teacher Appreciation Calla Lily Card

Happy Teacher Appreciation!

Teacher Appreciation Calla Lily Card

Happy Teacher Appreciation Day & Week!   This year our school’s Teacher Appreciation Committee chose to do a garden theme for the week’s festivities.  So in keeping with that, I decided to do a Calla Lily Card with the students.

I punched out enough white cardstock circles for each student to write an adjective they thought best described our teacher.  I did a tri-fold with each to create a calla lily shape and glued them down onto a Juniper Cardstock card base with a Glue Dot so that each could still be opened.  I drew in some stems using  our ShinHan Sap Green Alcohol Marker where they could be seen and then attached a bow using CTMH’s Thistle Extra Thick Twine (I untwisted the twine to get a softer look to the bow before I affixed it using a Glue Dot.)

Inside Calla Lily Teacher Appreciation Card

Inside I used the Floral Banners Stamp Set (love this set a lot!!) to stamp the sentiment.  I had each of the kids sign the card–and as luck would have it, they all signed together on one side of the card.  That allowed me to write the following sentiment below the “thanks a bunch” sentiment.

Just as each flower is unique & beautiful–so are you!  Be sure to open each calla lily to see how each child described you.  Happy Teacher Appreciation!

Need some other Teacher Appreciation gift ideas?  Here are a few I’ve done in the past and loved how they turned out!

Teacher Crayon Monogram

There is the Teacher Crayon Monogram.  Cute and always a classic!  I even created a step-by-step tutorial on how to make your own.  Teacher Crayon Monogram Tutorial.

Class Photo Soap

If you have a special class photo, creating a useful gift like a class photo soap dispenser is a wonderful gesture.

Teacher Pencil Vase

Creating a Pencil Vase can also be useful as many times students bring flowers in to the teachers.  They are practical, cute and easy to make.

Finally, here are a few more teacher appreciation card ideas to give you some inspiration.
