Today was the first day of school for my kids. I was excited to pull out the sign I made several years ago–it’s the perfect photo prop as I made the portion that says “first day of school” on velcro so I also have a strip that says “last day of school” to pull out and use at the end of the year.
I figured with the start of a new adventure, today was also the perfect day to show off some fun cards made with Close To My Heart’s *NEW* Emojis Stamp Set.
My daughter is completely in love with this stamp set! Each time I use it, she says, “Oooh, can you make me one of those, too!” It’s so cute.

Here’s another quick card using this same stamp set along with another *NEW* Embossing Folder. The Word Search Embossing Folder is quite fun. If you look closely you can make out several wonderful word selections within it. For my card, I made sure to capture the “happy” and “hello” words to frame my card.
