We’re on the tail end of August now and I just realized I haven’t shared any projects with this month’s Stamp of the Month—Purr-fect Halloween (gasp!)

I also created this cute gift bag using this same stamp set. I started by using a sample card I created at my Watercolor Techniques Class. We did a Salt and Wet Wash Technique. When looking at the completed card, it made me think a little of confetti and a party. So that was the start of this bag. I stamped some of the pennants to create a party banner. Then gave the cat some clown-style eyes to go along with the clown hat I stamped separately and then cut out to include for added dimension.
I used a variety of the ShinHan Markers to add additional color to the focal point and topped the banner pieces with some shine and shimmer using CTMH’s *NEW* Shimmer Brush. It’s so awesome!!
The final steps were to add some additional depth by using CTMH’s retired Pearls and then matting the stamped focal point.
