It’s Christmas Eve eve and maybe you need a few quick, last-minute gift wrap ideas?! Here are a couple of simple ideas that you could easily duplicate in no time at all.
First up, are some Wine Bottle Tags. These were super easy to come together as I decided to use Close To My Heart’s Picture My Life Cards contained in the City Sidewalks Paper Collection.
Not only do you receive beautiful patterned papers, but you also get a sheet of the 2 sizes of Picture My Life cards (“PML”)–in both vertical orientation and horizontal orientation–making them easy to use no matter what the project!
Simply start by cutting a piece of cardstock to 10″ x 3″ and then score at 3″. I chose to add a scallop circle to the center of the square before punching out my circle (1-1/2″) to help reinforce the opening as well as to add a little more fun detail. You could leave it as a simple rectangle or you could round the corners with a Corner Rounder or you could create a pennant by dovetailing the end as I’ve done here. Then decorate as much or as little as you desire. I took some cardstock and created a mat behind the PML Card I selected and then adhered it to the center of the tag. I finished it off with some Bitty Sparkles–these are awesome no matter what the project. Be sure to have a pair of Tweezers or Non-Stick Micro-Tip Scissors on hand when working with them though–they are so tiny!
Next up, an adorable Santa Bag! I created these particular bags using a die I borrowed from a friend, but these could easily be made by using any size red bag or tote. You could even cover lunch sacks with Red Cardstock to create these. Then all you need to do is add a thin strip of Black Cardstock for Santa’s belt along with a square of Gold Glitter Paper for his buckle.
Fill your darling handmade Santa bags with some tasty homemade treats or even a fun little gift. No matter what, this cute bag will be a hit and it’s so quick and easy to create!
