Do you consider yourself a bargain shopper? You know how you can get super deals right after Christmas? Well, you might just want to stock up on some mini candy canes after you see this darling idea!
Behold the Candy Cane Valentine’s Lollipop!
Cute, right? Well, here is how you can make your own.
STEP 1:
Preheat your oven to 235 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Then place 2 candy canes together in a heart shape on the pan as pictured above. Bake for approximately 10 minutes (enough time for the candy canes to soften up a bit).
STEP 2:
Working QUICKLY (the candy canes don’t stay bendable for too long), you’ll want to widen the hook of the candy cane and then affix to a lollipop stick as shown (note: it may not hold to the stick but in the next step this will be fixed so don’t fret!)
STEP 3:
Melt some white chocolate or the candy melts (like you find at your local craft store). Fill in the candy cane hearts with the melted chocolate. Let cool. OR…
STEP 4:
Add sprinkles right way and let cool. OR…
STEP 5:
STEP 6:
If you’d like to combine the stamping and the sprinkles, you can stamp as directed in the step above. While the stamp is still in the chocolate add sprinkles. When you remove the stamp image, it will be free of sprinkles as shown above.
