In addition to creating a layout to commemorate the start of Kindergarten for my kids, I also created a Back to School card to give to our Pre-K teacher from last year. Both my kids absolutely adore her (as do I!) Her school year doesn’t begin until next month so we’ll probably go visit her and give her the card in person…the kids would love to see her!
This stamp set–School Is Here–is so super cute! I just love it!
I used our White Daisy pigment ink on the black cardstock to really have the look and feel of a chalkboard. I then stamped and cut out the individual crayons in order to create the border along the flap (I’m not big on a lot of cutting so this is quite surprising to me that I went the extra step–but I do like how it turned out!)
