Today’s card shows off a technique I love to do–combine sentiments/images to create my own patterned paper. That’s what I did with the Kraft Paper–I used the January Stamp of the Month, Card Captions, and created my own custom patterned paper.
This was one of the projects in this month’s Technique Time Class. It’s such an easy technique to do and with such fun results. Why wouldn’t you want to try it out?!
The card also uses the *NEW* Mix-in Paper Pack (the Sapphire pattern above the custom Kraft patterned paper.) There are some really fantastic designs in the packet of paper! I know I personally tend to focus on the main paper collections and forget (or maybe overlook is a better word) these Mix-in packs. They are specially designed so that they coordinate with every paper collection in the 2019 Seasonal Expressions 1 Catalog.
The other fun *NEW* product in this card is the Stitched Squares Frames Thin Cuts dies. What’s pretty cool about these dies is that each metal die (represented by the gray shadowing) actually cuts out 2 images with just the one die. So you not only get the gray frame, but the white one, too when you run it through your die cutting machine! Less work & more fun. 🙂
