Cricut Artistry Halloween Card

Today’s card is one that goes together so quick and easy.  There’s NO stamping–it’s beauty comes from cuts from the wonderful *NEW* Cricut Artistry Collection.

I started out using the Scaredy Cat Paper Packet (note: this paper retires at the end of the month!)  I made one alteration to the color scheme though–instead of using Thistle, I used Smokey Plum.  What can I say?  I like the deeper, more muted purple color!  Another note: the Smokey Plum color is also set to retire at the end of the month!  Get ’em while you can–we’re talking cardstock, ink pads and re-inkers!

Amazing Cricut Artiste Card

Today’s card is another project that my Stamp Club created this month.  The design is perfect for using up scraps.  Plus, it showcases Shimmer Trim and our Paper Fundamentals beautifully!

Basic Paper Fundamentals

Our Paper Fundamentals are beautiful–and often overlooked–double-sided cardstock that have the same design on both sides.  One side features a glossy resist pattern while the other side is matte/traditional cardstock created with the same pattern in the selected color with white.

Appreciation Cards for Coaches and Teachers

End of the Year Teacher Card

Thumbprint Teacher Appreciation Card

It’s that time of year when things get busy.  Sport seasons wrap up, Teacher Appreciation Week happens, the end of school draws near with all the many projects still to be completed and finally End-of-the-Year gifts for teachers.  It’s always good to have a few ideas for appreciation cards handy!

This card was a group/class card I helped create with my son and daughter’s classes.  I had each student do a maximum of 2 thumbprints (to conserve space!) and then let them use their imagination to create something with that thumbprint.  Some really cute creations were born!
