May is National Scrapbooking Month and Close To My Heart is celebrating with a beautiful *NEW* collection called Blue Skies. About a month ago, I shared the fabulous stamp set, Let’s Stay Home, that Close To My Heart designed specifically for what our world is going through right now. Well, a few weeks after, through one of their blog posts, they shared a couple of SVGs that coordinated nicely with this set and in case you missed it, I wanted to share it with you today.

As soon as I saw the April Stamp of the Month, O-fish-ally Awesome, when the Close To My Heart March-April Catalog was released, I was super excited for it! And now it’s April–time to use this amazing stamp set. So many wonderful possibilities with it!
Today’s inspiration is all about preparing for Easter. This morning my daughter asked me if we would be doing anything for Easter since we didn’t really do much for St. Patrick’s Day. (I generally try to decorate our home, even if it’s only a tiny amount, as well as to do or make something a little extra special for that particular holiday to make it more memorable.) Well, with all that is going on around the world with COVID-19, I admit our St. Patrick’s Day didn’t quite live up to past ones.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! For most, this particular holiday won’t seem quite the same this year with the new norm of social distancing. Parades have been cancelled, bars closed and where I live, you basically have to avoid someone if you see them approaching you on the sidewalk!

Things have been pretty busy here this week preparing for my Annual Holiday Extravaganza Class & All-day Crop. Add in the stress of wondering if our city & neighborhood would be one that would be impacted by PG&E’s Power Shutoff and it feels as though I’m scrambling to get things done (& hope they don’t become undone–like food purchased for Saturday’s event going bad if the power is shut off!)
