This month’s Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month, Seasonal Trees, offers the chance to try out some really fun techniques with it. For this month’s Technique Time Class, I taught the ladies the Bokeh technique using the stamp set. It’s been a pretty busy week for me as I’ve been preparing for a school craft fair today. I made a bunch of these popcorn ornaments as I love the creative look to them. I haven’t made them in years. In fact, if you want to make some of your own, I did a popcorn ornament tutorial 8 years ago (wow, 8 years! )
Ever have a project you start and then it falls to the wayside and gets forgotten only to be found months, even years, later? Yep, this is one of those projects 🙂 I just finished it last week and LOVE how it turned out.

Today’s project is one where the name is simply so deceiving–it’s called the Impossible Card but truthfully it’s so impossibly simple to do! Usually, my love of crafting resonates strongly with my daughter but this card was way more in my son’s wheelhouse this time around. This design is based on a popular magic trick called the Hypercard Illusion trick and is one he himself has done (but it didn’t look as pretty!) Today I’m going to show you how simple it is to do so you can create your own.
