As promised, I have some wonderful (and inspiring) ideas from attending CTMH’s Regional Celebration in Portland last weekend. Here is a fun, festive holiday card which uses our awesome Twinkle Brads. Love ’em!!
A couple of cool things going on in this card…first check out my tree trunk. It’s cut from our small paper packet label found inside each of our paper packets. How clever is that!?!? A darling pattern and something you’d most likely just toss anyway.
Now, here’s the biggie. The tree is made from our Delightful Things stamp set. I can honestly say, I would never have thought to do this, but I truly LOVE it! At first glance, this set looks beautiful for doing corners and little details. But, take a look at that sketchy corner image in the lower left hand corner. I simply stamped that image 3 times, each time slightly overlapping the previous one. Then when I cut it out, I just trimmed the edges to be more proportional to a tree. Neat, huh?!
