Recently I saw some fun Halloween garland at a craft fair. While I can absolutely appreciate the work that goes into a project like this, I felt like the price on it was rather high. So I decided to do it myself!
A quick trip to my local Joann’s and a few hours of t.v. later (made for a great multi-tasking project!) and voila some Halloween garland to spruce up our home that’s under construction!
I cut strips of solid orange and black fabric to 1″ x 6″. I then found some really fun glittery spider web fabric (basically like tulle with spider webs and spiders and all bling’d up with glitter…fabulous!). I cut these strips into 1″ x 5″.
I used some thick natural hemp as the base to my garland and then just alternated my strips and tie’d them into knots.
An easy peasy DIY fabric Halloween garland project!
