Here are the details for my DIY Superhero Party Invitations…
Like I said in my post yesterday, the most important part was to keep it simple; partly since I wasn’t just making one and partly because I have a lot of other things on my plate currently.
Secondly, I needed it to work for both my ‘lil girl and my ‘lil guy. Normally, I’d love to have stamped it all, but unfortunately I didn’t have any superhero stamps. So the next best thing was to use digital stamps! I got these cuties and some others too from Digi My World. Cute designs for sure.
I then used our *NEW* Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge and cut out the shadow star image at 2-1/2″ in White Daisy. I cut the plain star image at the same size in Holiday Red and layered it behind the shadow image. Then matted that combo onto Moonstruck CS.
I matted my darling Superheroes on Black CS. And finally stamped “It’s Party Time” from our Fanfare Stamp Set.
Inside the invitation it reads:
Calling All Superheroes!
Get here in a flash!
It’s time for {child’s name} birthday bash!
Date, Time, Location & RSVP info
And that’s it! That’s how my DIY Superhero Party Invitations came together. Now onto the favors and decorations! More on those later…
Thanks, I appreciate that! Lucky you and your girl will have yours soon 🙂
These are soo cute ! After their 3rd birthday I did not think you could outdo yourself, but you have once again done just that.
