Grateful Hearts

A couple of weeks ago, I shared the ever popular Triangle Treat Tent–perfect for Hershey Kisses HERE.  I had promised to share how to make them.  Well, sadly time got away from me (so sorry!!)…but now without further adieu here is the “how-to” to these fun treat holders!!

Supplies:
  • C1372 Grateful Hearts Stamp Set
  • D1371 Many Thanks Stamp Set
  • 1270 Autumn Terracotta 12″ x 12″ Cardstock
  • 1388 Colonial White 12″ x 12″ Cardstock
  • Z2123 Goldrush Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
  • Z2104 Barn Red Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
  • Z2137 Olive Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
  • Z2101 Autumn Terracotta Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
  • Z2114 Cocoa Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
  • Z280 Natural Hemp
  • Z1090 Foam Tools
  • Z534 Micro-Tip Scissors
  • 1772 Glue Dots
  • Hershey Kisses

STEP 1:

Cut your cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Then score at 1-3/8″, 2-3/4″ and 4-1/8″.

STEP 2:

Stamp and decorate as desired.  The front of your Triangle Treat Tent will be the 2nd section from the bottom–be sure to decorate accordingly!

STEP 3:

Flip your paper over.  Then place 4 Glue Dots on the top section of your paper.  Adhere 4 Hershey Kisses to the Glue Dots.  Begin folding at the score lines starting with the top section with the Kisses.  It will fold over itself creating a tent shape.  You’ll adhere the bottom section to the top panel with the Hershey Kisses.  This will leave you with the decorated section facing forward and the seam from your tent facing toward the back.

Have fun creating these!  They are super easy to make and loved by the recipient.  Plus, with so many varieties of Hershey Kisses on the market, the sky is the limit for the different themes you can make!  Enjoy…

  1. I remember that! We made these tonight at club and as usual they were a HIT! A lot of great ideas for uses like birthday parties, Thanksgiving place settings, etc. were exchanged. Truly a versatile project!
