Remember last week when I posted about National Failures Day? Well, today I have a card to share that truly was a ‘fail’ but I surprised myself and turned it into a successful pocket card!
I originally sat down to create a Right Angle Fold Over Card but by making a wrong cut (I didn’t fully think through the process before I tried out a short cut!) I ended up cutting 2 scored right angle triangles as well as one scored isosceles triangle. Definitely not what I was going for! Before tossing the papers aside, I sat and looked at them wondering if there was something I could do with them other than recycling them.
As I played with the 2 right angle triangles–rotating them and overlapping them, I realized I could make a fun pocket card by adhering the 2 together!
It’s a little bit different and a whole lot of fun with the pocket feature. Stay tuned for a tutorial on how I did it coming later this week!
