Time is flying by and before you know it, it’ll be time to celebrate the New Year! With Close To My Heart’s November Stamp of the Month, New Year’s Cheer, you will be ready!
This stamp set is perfect for creating a Confetti Party Cracker and today I’m going to walk you through the process.
Supplies to gather:
- Toilet Paper Rolls
- Tissue Paper
- Confetti
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Additional supplies for decoration
STEP 1:
Acting as if you are going to cut a toilet paper roll in half, cut almost entirely across–just leave a small amount uncut. This will assist with splitting open your cracker when you’re ready once it’s all decorated.
STEP 2:
Gather your tissue paper and cut to desired size–allowing for extra for your ends.
STEP 3:
Gather your desired confetti and then carefully fill as full as desired.
STEP 4:
Carefully roll tissue paper around the filled toilet paper roll (note: you could also use a paper towel roll, too!) Twist/scrunch ends near the roll to mark where to tie your ribbon.
STEP 5:
Tie ribbon of choice around the two ends to seal it closed. Decorate as desired.
