I’m feeling more inspired with Halloween crafting this year. It could be due to my twins getting older and really appreciating holidays. It’s definitely fun when you hear your 5-year-old say, “we’re going to have the most spooky house, right mommy?” Seeing things through their eyes definitely makes you stop and appreciate things more!
While my head has been spinning with Halloween ideas, this was actually not one of them. I felt inspired when I saw the tree at my local Michaels. It sort of reminded me of Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tree…just needing a little love to dress it up. So I did up a few ornaments in our now-retired Hooligans Paper and added some ribbon. Voila…a quick and easy Halloween decoration. After taking this picture I couldn’t help notice the spooky glare of lights resembling eyeballs in all of the ornaments…eerie isn’t it!?
Here’s a close-up of the Halloween ornament. These are actually super easy to whip up and in my opinion are darling and whimsical. I’ll have a video on how to make them up next week. Stay tuned…
