For my first project I created with this set, I went for a simple feel. I used our amazing Paper Fundamentals–love how the one side has a glossy pattern and the reverse has the same pattern in a matte finish with a pop of white. (note: did you know that now you can get these wonderful papers and coordinating Assortments as FREE Hostess Rewards?!? It’s true, CTMH just added them as one of the selections you can choose from when your order reaches a qualifying level–yay!)
I started by random stamping the “snap”, “smile” and “click” sentiments on my white card base. I then cut a 1-1/2″ slit in my Paper Fundamentals Paper so I could fold back the edges showing off the stamping. I added in some Bitty Sparkles for a little camera flash feel.
I stamped the camera on some scratch White Daisy Cardstock in both Whisper and Slate ink–to get a little more depth. After I cut it out, I sponged on some additional Whisper ink. I adhered it to the card with some 3-D Foam Tape. The final details were to add some Shimmer Trim–both Teal and Silver.
The card comes together quickly and shows that this stamp set is not only perfect for scrapbooking projects, but also fun cards, too! To get your own Life in Pictures Stamp Set before April is over, visit MY ONLINE CTMH STORE.
