With it being just a couple of days until Valentine’s Day, I thought I would share a card idea each day giving you a little inspiration on a style of card you could create for your loved one (that is, if you still are in need of one!)
Today, I chose to share this amazing card I received from Laurie Levorson in a regular card swap that I participate in with each new catalog. To truly appreciate this card, I took this top view photo. It’s so fun and full of dimension!
First of all, this Make Waves Cardmaking Stamp Set + Thin Cuts dies is absolutely adorable! The play on words and the adorable sea creatures (oh my, that octopus is so cute holding the heart!)–it’s all so fun!
I love how she incorporated CTMH’s Scallop Border Thin Cuts die to create waves for the whale to be swimming through. And the use of a Bitty Sparkle as the whale’s eye is such a nice detail. I’m also in love with the *NEW* Make Waves Sequins & Gems. They are just so pretty and sparkly.
