On the 3rd Day of Christmas…

My true love gave to me…a package of Texture Tools!  These fun and sometimes subtle tools can really add a little something to your projects.  Here I’ve made a dry erase board for a crafty friend who has been spreading the love with her crafty genius in my new obsession…sewing and making rag quilts.  It’s truly hard to come up with a handmade gift for someone already so talented in the stamping world!  I used both the black stubble tool to add a little dimension to the solid paper as well as the foam tool around the edges to soften and add dimension.

Here’s a close-up showing these details from the Texture Tools:
The completed project…
And here we have a little note showing the beauty of the dry erase marker on a standard glass frame!  Genius I tell you–pure genius!
Supplies used in addition to the Texture Tools: He Said, She Said Word Puzzle Stamp Set (so sad this set is being retired at the end of the year–it’s a good one!) and Current Stamp of the Month: Notice the Details; Outdoor Denim and Honey Ink; Blue Ribbon Level 2 Paper Packet; Colonial White Waxy Flax; and Colonial White Brads.
