Okay all you veterans of acrylic stamps…I can totally hear you saying “duh, they’re clear, of course I can get perfect positioning!” But wait, I’m talking about positioning them onto your acrylic blocks. You know how sometimes you have those sweet images, but they are just a tad bit wiggly for your oh-so-steady hand to put on the block correctly?! I have a tip for you (actually there are a couple great tips for this dilemma but this one is pretty darn easy!)
It may be hard to see here, but if you look closely you’ll see I took the bracket image and lined it up on the carrier sheet on the opposite side it comes on (lining it up on the printed image with the portion that will stamp down and the flat surface that makes contact with the block facing up). By utilizing the printed image, you are able to keep the shape in tact.
Now since the flat side is facing up, you simply take your block and gently position it on top of the image.
You then gently peel the carrier sheet away so that your image is perfectly placed on your block and ready for a stamping good time!
Easy, right? What other tips have you found work for you? Like I’m always telling my kiddos, it’s always nice to share 🙂
