Today I have this Smiles From the Garden Card to share with you. Since we are getting toward the end of the popular Close To My Heart Stamptacular Sale, I thought I’d pull out an older stamp set to use with the *NEW* Hope & Kindness Papers.
Who can resist beautiful butterfly stamps and dies? Not me! The Smiles From the Garden Stamp + Thin Cuts is such a great set. (Note: you can also just get the stamp set.) It contains beautiful butterfly and floral images along with useful sentiments.
In addition to using the Hope & Kindness Papers (both the patterned paper and the coordinating cardstock), I also used the Die-cuts. If you look closely at the Kraft frame on my card, you’ll see indentations. I didn’t want to have the white plaid design so I simply used the backside of it! You don’t always have to use items exactly as they are intended. I like that I still get a little extra bit of texture and depth from the backside of the die-cut.
Here are the supplies I used to create my card.

And coincidentally, the Hope & Kindness Collection also ends/retires on June 30th. It is such a gorgeous collection. It’s really been one of my favorites they’ve offered lately. Even with the simplest of designs, projects look stunning with these papers. Just look at the simplicity of my Smiles From the Garden card and how beautiful it is!
