St. Patrick’s Day will be here before you know it! I was teaching a group of friends how to make Self-Closing Boxes last night and decided to make myself a St. Patrick’s Day themed one. I really like how it turned out! These boxes are super fun as all you need to do to open them is to pinch the two sides together. No need to fasten it closed or undo any type of closure, like ribbon, velcro, etc.
I’ve made a few in the past and always love how unique they turn out.
Each one is beautiful in their own way. And I find with each new one I create, I love it more than the last! And that definitely holds true with this St. Patrick’s Day one I created.
I ended up using Close To My Heart’s March Stamp of the Month—Tea-rrific to create the pattern to my shamrock. It’s a use a little out of the theme of the set, but it turned out great!
I used CTMH’s newest Cricut Collection—Flower Market to cut out the shamrock shape for the focal point. In addition to stamping the shamrock, I also used our *NEW* Gold Shimmer Brush to add some shine and sparkle to it. It was hard to capture in the photo, but it looks BEAUTIFUL!
