Okay, so many of you that know me well have heard me say how I was less than excited at the prospect of digital scrapbooking…I just love that hands on aspect of traditional scrapbooking! When they announced Studio J last summer at CTMH’s Leadership Conference, I was lukewarm on it. Truly–I felt like the oddball as everyone else was completely doing cartwheels and I was like “ok, we’re doing digital scrapbooking now.” But like most things, I was willing to give it a shot.
And I have to say…I absolutely ADORE it! Everyone is always saying how they are behind on their scrapbooking, right? Well, I have twins plus I love taking pictures. Their first year of life, I took over 1,000 pictures. I wouldn’t necessarily realize this little tidbit of info if it weren’t for my husband pointing it out to me (so sweet, right?).
Now that I’ve been playing with it a lot these past several months, I’ve been finding more and more reasons why I love it so. My latest reason….the ability to make one layout and print multiple copies! On Monday I sat down and made up layouts for almost all the preschool pictures I had for them this year. Then I simply printed 2 copies of each…one for each of their albums. And the beauty of this is…it literally only took me a couple of hours. Wowzers, right?
It’s absolutely FREE…no software to download, no need to be tech savvy, no need to spend money getting upgrades and such and no need to have your own 12″x12″ printer!
