Artiste Jack o Lantern Circle Card

Halloween lends itself to creating some fun & unique cards. Look at this adorable Jack-o-Lantern Card I created using a basic circle card as my base. I then used CTMH’s Cricut Artiste to cut out this Jack-0-Lantern face (there’s a fabulous Frankenstein face, too!) This card really was quick and easy to put together. But with the added touches of embossing it, sanding the embossing followed by sponging the edges, it adds a lot to the visual appeal of the card. The final touch was to use Thin 3-D Foam Tape to give the face a little “pop.”

Blossoming Expressions Card

This Sunday, October 25th, is Mother-In-Law Day and what better way to celebrate the occasion than to make and send her a handmade card! Mother-in-Laws tend to get a bad reputation so this seems like a great “unofficial” holiday to celebrate, don’t you think?

For this card, I decided to use our *NEW* Square Diffuser so that I could make the sentiment stand out a little more. The Diffusers are so fun (and easy!) to use.

Miracle of Christmas Rudolph Card

It’s getting to be that exciting, fast-paced time of year! Halloween is right around the corner, then before we know it Thanksgiving will be here and then Christmas will have come and gone in a blink of an eye!

Amazing Cricut Artiste Card

Today’s card is another project that my Stamp Club created this month. The design is perfect for using up scraps. Plus, it showcases Shimmer Trim and our Paper Fundamentals beautifully!

Our Paper Fundamentals are beautiful–and often overlooked–double-sided cardstock that have the same design on both sides. One side features a glossy resist pattern while the other side is matte/traditional cardstock created with the same pattern in the selected color with white.

Wonderful Cards and Useful Card Techniques

On Saturday we held our semi-annual Crazy for Cards Event. Guests came and made an assortment of 12 cards, complete with envelopes. We had a variety of different styles–traditional cards, unique folds, money holders (like pictured above and below) and we sprinkled in a few useful techniques as well. It’s always a fun event!
