Want a fun way to create place cards for Thanksgiving dinner this year? Why not try one of these adorable (and easy!) treat containers that would be perfect for a place card. They can be as simple or as elaborate as you want.
This one we created in my Stamp Club this month. I loved using our beautiful Fundamentals Papers–they make it look so elegant without any extra work! Plus, cutting out the turkey using CTMH’s Cricut Artiste and stamping with the Perfect Fit–Thanksgiving Stamp Set made it quick and easy!
We used the Sparkles Brown & Tan Assortment (which are on the While Supplies Last list right now) for the turkey’s eye and then tied some of the Fern Thick Twine around it’s neck for a little more texture. And the final touch–which is something I love doing a lot lately–is cutting a strip of Shimmer Trim in half so it’s half as wide. It makes for a nice subtle bit of shine and glitz.
Here are some others I made for Christmas–a cute little army of Santa Treats! These treats are a “go-to” for me for any occasion. They go together quickly and make a darling little treat. Want to try making them yourself? Maybe for Thanksgiving dinner or for Christmas? Here’s a how-to video I made a few years ago. Enjoy!
