This Sunday, October 25th, is Mother-In-Law Day and what better way to celebrate the occasion than to make and send her a handmade card! Mother-in-Laws tend to get a bad reputation so this seems like a great “unofficial” holiday to celebrate, don’t you think?
For this card, I decided to use our *NEW* Square Diffuser so that I could make the sentiment stand out a little more. The Diffusers are so fun (and easy!) to use.
Another fun technique to try with the Blossoming Expressions Stamp Set I used on this card is Second Generation Stamping. It’s the perfect way to get the most out of your stamp pads.
Second Generation Stamping means you will ink up your image as usual, then stamp it on a scratch piece of paper, then immediately on your project. It will have a lighter shade of the color used. This way you can use the color of ink pad you like for the outline image and then that same ink pad for the image just instead using Second Generation Stamping as shown in my card here.
