How would you like an easy way to get more out of your trimmer blade? Of course you would! Afterall, if you are having to replace your blade less often, that means you can be purchasing other goodies for your stash.
Here’s the trick…next time you replace your blade, use a Sharpie marker to make an arrow or other reminder of which side of the blade you are using (i.e. if you tend to slide your blade in an upward direction, you’ll place your arrow toward the top as I’ve done in the photo). Then when your blade shows signs of needing to be replaced, just pop it out (easiest to do in the center portion of your blade track as it’s more forgiving) and rotate it so that the other side of the blade is facing upward. Once you’ve used up both sides, it’s now time to get a completely new blade and start again.
I hope this tip helps you and helps cut down on the number of blades you go through! See you tomorrow.
