When Creativity Goes Bad…

While some projects may be cute, be forewarned that they can be fatal (okay, perhaps not fatal, but maybe a little yucky!).
See these cute little colorful hearts?

Innocent looking aren’t they?  Well, unbeknownst to me, they can be mistaken for yummy candy when in fact they are recycled crayons molded into cute heart shapes.  Yep, that’s right…not really very tasty!
If you are brave enough (or perhaps you solemnly swear to attach a warning label to them–unlike me) here is how you too can make them:
STEP 1:
Grease pan generously (you can use simple mini muffin pans or find some cute shape like these hearts).
STEP 2:
Fill pan with broken crayons (or if you need to get some aggression out, feel free to break the crayons yourself!).
STEP 3:
Place pan in oven at 400 degrees for maybe 5 minutes (just until they melt).
STEP 4:
Cool and then pop them out of the molds.  The freezer works great if you’re impatient or they need some assistance on getting out of the pan 😉
Happy Creating!
