When I received CTMH’s *NEW* Spring/Summer Idea Book, I was so excited about the *NEW* Superhero Collection. First of all, I knew I’d have plenty of pictures to scrapbook utilizing these papers; afterall, my twins birthday party this year had a superhero theme. And, I love how these papers have a nice vintage appearance to them.
Here is my first layout using the Superhero papers–“When I Grow Up…I Want to Be a Superhero!” You may have seen a layout very similar to this one in the Idea Book (check page 49!) I really liked the layout–it’s a Studio J digital layout–but I went the traditional scrapbook layout route and created this one with a few tweaks.
I used the *NEW* Superhero Complements Rub-Ons for the “When I Grow Up” title as well as several other accents like the stars, “pow” and the quote. I also incorporated Waxy Flax into my stitching on the pages (love, love, love that stuff!!) and used one of the *NEW* Comic Badge Buttons above my “checklist.”
So what did you want to be when you grew up? Leave us a comment and let us know!
